The Campus Life

The University of Traditional Medicine was founded in 1991 by Dr. Norik Saribekyan the Rector of UTMA. TMA is one of the unprecedented and leading educational institutions in the region. For the whole period of its activity, the university administration and the professors consistently have sought to implement the educational process in accordance with international standards. Staff consists of experienced scientists, professors and doctors, whose work has a great
reputation andoccupies a worthy place in the system of highereducation.

The initiative to invest centuries-old traditional medicine research to the
development of Modern medicines in the learning process as well as the best
service in the field of integrative medicine were highly appreciated during the
International conference held inCyprusin 1998.

The university is accredited by the Ministry of Education and Science in 2001.
(License N0002, State accreditation N 129) , graduates receive a state diploma
whichis valued Internationally. The students from our University are eligible for various internationalScholarships and programs of internship in every countries with requireddocuments and eligible qualifications. 

We are currently collaborating with various countries such as in Europe and countries like USA, GERMANY, UK, INDIA,DUBAIETC.

There are students from different countries in the world where we are
the official and only affiliated university to have partners such as UK and
Germany in the region withMedical University .

The quality is the most important value of our curriculum and method
of education forwhich we have partnersselected with international criteria and
students admitted andpracticed basedon Internationalstandards.

Iran from the south, Artsakh from the east, Azerbaijan from the north-east and

Weather

Armenia is often described as a sunny country. The climate is highland
continental, dry with four seasons. Temperatures can vary considerably
between seasons. The summer is generally pleasant reaching 25°C, though in
theArarat valley temperatures can climb to 40°C. Winters can be quite cold with temperaturesfalling to -5°C in Yerevan, and
colder in the Ararat Valley (-30°C) and the Lake Arpi area (-46°C). Annual
precipitation forthe country as a whole average is 550mm.

Food

Today, the restaurant is no longer a place where you can gather just for the occasion. The restaurant is quite a comfortable place for a short business meeting, for lunch in the middle of a working day, and for evening gatherings with friends.There are a lot of different Indian restaurants in Yerevan city, for example India Palace. This restaurant has South and North Indian cuisine. We will
not let you miss India.

Religion

Armenians are up to 97% Christian and they have their own church,
known as the Armenian Apostolic Church. Most Armenians follow this
branch of religion. The church became the first branch of Christianity to
become a state religion in about 301 AD.The largest religious minority is
Catholicism whichis connected to the RomanCatholic Churchin Rome.

The University

University prepares high-level medical scientists who are experienced in using scientific empirical methods of diagnosis and treatment of Modern English Medicine and a different faculty of medicine. Those, displaying
clinical Flexible thinking, apply their theoretical and practical knowledge, gained during their studies, in practice, combining medicine and modern methods of diagnosis and treatment with traditional and modern
techniques.

Recognitions

We are pleased to announce that the University of Traditional Medicine
expands its international cooperation. UTMA recognized by WHO and MCI.

UTMA has been recognized by the Ministry of Education and Science
of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and has joined the ranks of foreign
universitiesrecognized by the Ministry of Jordan.
